Vielen Dank vorab!

Bonjour. I am making a wire transfer from my French bank account to a US account. I have all the details, furnished by my US bank, for the transfer bank, which I am calling la banque intermédiaire. After the details pertaining to the transfer bank comes the line For further credit to:. [our account and account number]. How would you translate For further credit to into French. Merci pour tout renseignement.

Bonjour.

mais tu parles de "the transfer bank, which I am calling la banque intermédiaire."

D'après le site Banking Terms: Banking: Treasury Operations: Office of the Treasurer: Indiana University (j'ai coloré) :

FFC - For Further Credit is used in electronic funds transfers to notate a second beneficiary.

I'm not sure that there is a standard French translation, but I've seen things like - à porter au crédit de.
I might be wrong, but I think this option, FFC, does not exist anymore in France for fund transfers. Some countries prohibit it.

Merci tout le monde. trans-latour explained the situation very well. Many banks and brokerages in the US either do not want to deal with international wire transfers directly or are not authorized to do so. So they have a (typically) large New York bank act as intermediary to receive the funds and pass them on to the local bank or brokerage. "For further credit to" indicates the name and account number of the individual account-holder at the bank or brokerage. In the end, I used OLN's suggestion and put compte à credité and bénéficiaire at the end of the details I sent my French bank. It seems to have worked. The funds left Paris yesterday and I'm expecting so see the credit to my US account very soon. Bonne année. y'all!
