Ark 2 profile gleicher pc

More than one profile?

Hi, I searched and can't seem to find an answer. Part of the reason I bought this game was to get my wife to play some. I can't seem to figure out how to give her her own profile. Every game I have ever played would allow two people to play, or one person to play different variations without losing the others. What am I missing?
Not sure if I was clear about that but for instance. I should be able to play one game as male and quit that one and then play one as female without losing the other game I am playing. It would be even cooler if I could play, then quit and have her start in my game as a second character, but that is another topic entirely.
Basically, we have one computer that can handle this game is all. If I had two, then I would just buy another copy for her.
Heck, I would even do that if I could put two of the same game on this one.
