The bandage-wrapped Hush is perhaps the closest to Bruce Wayne of all Batman's enemies. Young Tommy Elliot was a childhood friend of Wayne, who also grew up in wealth and privilege. However, Tommy soon became deeply jealous and resented Bruce once his parents were tragically killed - seeing Bruce as getting the independence and wealth Tommy so desperately desired. Eventually becoming a surgeon, Tommy's resentment for Bruce continued to fester and grow over the years. When The Riddler discovered that Bruce is really Batman, he approached Dr. Elliot with the secret. But, when the two realized they shared a hatred for Wayne, they joined forces. Wrapping his face in bandages to hide his identity, Elliot manipulated many of Batman's greatest Super-Villains in a grand conspiracy to defeat him- hence, his chosen identity of "Hush." Joseph "Jeph" Loeb III is an American film and television writer, producer and award-winning comic book writer. Loeb was a producer/writer on the TV series Smallville and Lost, writer for the films Commando and Teen Wolf, and a writer and co-executive producer on the NBC TV show Heroes from its premiere in 2006 to November 2008. In 2010, Loeb became Executive Vice President of Marvel Television.

A four-time Eisner Award winner and five-time Wizard Fan Awards winner, Loeb's comic book work, which has appeared on the New York Times Best Seller list, includes work on many major characters, including Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, Hulk, Captain America, Cable, Iron Man, Daredevil, Supergirl, the Avengers, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, much of which he has produced in collaboration with artist Tim Sale.

Vorweg sei gesagt, ich habe den Comic, auf den der Film basiert, nie gelesen und kann daher keine Vergleiche zwischen Comic und Film ziehen. In “Batman Hush” arbeiten Catwoman und Batman zusammen gegen das Verbrechen von Gotham City. Dabei ist das Ziel zu erfahren, wer sich hinter dem neuen Bösewicht Hush verbirgt. Hier nehme ich schon gleich vorweg, die Auflösung hierzu gefiel mir nicht sonderlich gut und war etwas dünn erzählt. Im Laufe ...
