What we do

We work as a collaborative partner with our clients’ medical affairs teams, including pipeline teams, typically from Phase 2 on. Our backgrounds and expertise in science are critical in working directly with scientists as thought partners to shape a scientific strategy.

We support clients pre-launch to define unmet needs, then work collaboratively through launch and beyond to bring products to life in a compelling commercial way. Our science-forward teams don’t just talk science for science’s sake, but tell scientific stories to position a brand in an evidence-based, clinically compelling way.

Accuracy as well as expertise in regulations is key in the partnership to put prized new data before the public. We help clients, typically once they have Phase 2 data, build a strategic, audience-focused publication plan, then write and deliver publications with impeccable scientific rigor.

Our full-service market-access communications division marries clinical, industry, and real-world payer expertise to solve access challenges across a continuum of stakeholders. Our unique approach incorporates a strong foundation of science with business and marketing acumen to deliver high-quality, strategic, and well-executed initiatives that support access to healthcare.

Over a third of Lockwood staff hold advanced scientific or medical degrees. Our in-house teams draw on experience in all major therapeutic areas and many rare diseases, along with highly specialized knowledge in biologics, devices, and diagnostics. We go beyond simply understanding data around therapeutic advances to uncover the insights that inform compelling stories.

Flexibility and support define how Lockwood is organized. Most of our staff have always worked from where they live. With our highly developed support structure, we attract the best talent, facilitate their best work, and as a result, many Lockwood people have been with the company for over 10 years.

Lockwood Distilling Co. was built upon Sally and Evan Batt’s love for their community. Inspired by family, friends, and neighbors, the Batts wanted to create a place where guests gather to enjoy crafted food and beverages with local flare.

DISTILLERY

Lockwood Distilling Co. proudly creates all of our own spirits in house. Why can’t I order beer? Because we aren’t a brewery. Why can I order wine? Because the lady of the house likes wine and filed for a winery permit (and even started a wine club)! While the alcohol system may be confusing in Texas, we promise that you won’t be confused when you’re choosing a cocktail made right here, in our facility.

Lockwood offers an array of cocktails, wine, sandwiches, small plates, and ice cream. We try to buy locally as much as possible.
