Biography

An associate professor at the U.S. Naval War College’s Office of International Programs, Jeffrey Landsman joined the college’s faculty in 2008. As a former surface warfare officer, he attained the rank of captain with primary assignments aboard frigates and destroyers in the areas of weapons systems and shipboard operations. Presently, he is serving as the acting director for the new Maritime Security and Governance Staff Course to be offered to international maritime officers starting in early 2022. He has also served as war game director, developer, designer and analyst for a variety of naval, joint and multi-national games while assigned to the College of Naval Warfare Studies.
