The seven entrepreneur traits are "leadership abilities, opportunity obsession, commitment/determination, motivation to excel, courage, tolerance of risk, and creativity" (Longenecker, Petty, Palich, & Hoy, 2020). To possess all of these characteristics, one should be able to make things happen without needing others to encourage and motivate them. Understanding the market around them and knowing what the people want and need, is important too. The entrepreneur should be able to resolve issues that could stand in the way of the business moving forward and remain focused on the goal. As an entrepreneur, one must be willing to take chances in order to grow. Keeping an open mind when changing with both the market and customers as time progresses, is also key to being successful.
